Before you start

What you need, and what you will not get

Requirements

  • Bing Webmaster Tools API access for your Microsoft account.
  • At least one site verified in Bing Webmaster Tools under that account.
  • Read-only OAuth. ScopeMCP never calls SubmitUrl, SubmitFeed or RemoveSite.

Boundaries

The limits worth knowing before you trust an answer.

  • Bing aggregates web, chat, images, video and knowledge-panel traffic into one report. It is not comparable to a Search Console click count.
  • Query and page stats are bucketed weekly and updated weekly, so summing rows does not produce a period total.
  • A brand new site can show nothing for several days.
